Emmanuel Christian Seminary, is a graduate theological seminary located near Johnson City, Tennessee, which will be joining with Milligan College. Emmanuel was founded in 1965 by church leaders and scholars within the Christian churches and churches of Christ and the Christian Church that recognized a need for a seminary rooted in the heritage of the Restoration tradition, while still engaging in theological preparation for ministers. The Foundation has assisted the Summer Institutes (practical ongoing training for ministers) with annual grants of $5,000.
