“Giving is better than receiving because giving starts the receiving process.”
— Jim Rohn
In a recent devotional, Pastor Pete Briscoe writes, “In the book of Acts (20:35) Paul quotes Jesus, who said, ‘It is more blessed to give than receive.’
They both agree that it’s in giving that we’re more blessed,” continues Briscoe, adding, “We hear that so much that it’s pretty much cliché. But do we believe it? Honestly, do we really believe there’s more blessing in giving than there is in receiving? I’m not so sure.”
Perhaps the words of Leonard Nimoy of “Star Trek” fame add another perspective on giving: “Whatever I have given, I have gained.”

Rooted in Christian belief, the Foundation offers a vehicle for the broader Christian community to honor Christ by returning a portion of their estate or unexpected financial gifts to God’s work.
